Courage & Compassion Consulting (C&CC) envisions a world where our communities have sovereignty, joy and an abundance of resources necessary for life.
Courage & Compassion Consulting is devoted to supporting communities by strategically addressing race and gender inequity in our places of work, play, and worship.
Courage & Compassion Consulting offers facilitation, consultation, and coaching in community with organizations and social justice leaders to transform narratives, behaviors, strategies, and organizational structures.
Compassion - We must stand in solidarity with all who are impacted by oppression. We must take care of each other and ourselves.
Courage - We must build capacity to take informed risks and have uncomfortable conversations.
Trust - We must build critical connections rather than critical mass in order to sustain anti-oppressive work.
Accountability - We must name and repair harm. We must ensure that our work is accessible.
Sustainability - We must have results-driven goals and metrics in accordance with available resources and worker wellness.

Courage & Compassion Consulting is named in honor of Guan Yin (觀音), a Buddhist Bodhisattva of mercy and compassion. Bodhisattvas, instead of entering paradise, devote themselves to improve the lives of other people on earth. Guan Yin often listens to peoples' needs and provides them with resources necessary for life (crops, improved health, protection) and takes any form in order to better spread their kindness and compassion; male or female, young or old, etc.
