Today we went over the homework and then took our first weekly quiz.
Afterwards we addressed any remaining questions from this Guided Learning WS on Average Atomic Mass. and then did a few more practice average atomic mass problems.
Today we broke up into small groups and worked on this Guided Learning WS on Average Atomic Mass.
Afterwards we wrapped it up by doing a couple of practice problems in these
As today is a short class period we will use these days to answer questions about anything we have covered during the week. Since we haven't covered too much content this week, we will begin to take a look at the activity we will be working on tomorrow. Make sure you download this guided learning and read through the first part so you can contribute to your small group tomorrow.

Ideas of something you might share:
What did you do this summer
Favorite activities
Number of pets, siblings
Best science related experience
best pandemic boredom fighter/s
Write down these things for your group members as we may share them with the class later.
Compound, mixture, element activity (more directions will be given for this during class)
Pick a spokesperson from your group to share what you came up with in the activity.
Compounds, Elements, Mixtures We started these today and will finish them during the next class period.
Welcome to General Chemistry Hybrid Edition
Canvas isn't quite ready for us yet, but we can still meet with Zoom or Google Meet. Zoom seems to be working so we will try it first, but if it doesn't we will switch to Google.
