WHEREAS, the Cordova Board of Education, as the appropriate governing body, is desirous of participating in the 1993 fiscal year distribution of funds under the provisions of AS 43.50.140. known as the Cigarette Tax Fund. and
WHEREAS, under the terms of this Statute, the funds are to be used for the exclusive purposes of major rehabilitation, construction, and major repair of school facilities including insurance premiums.

A resolution to reinvest in America. We, the Board of Education of Cordova in the state of Alaska, do hereby adopt the following resolution in support of new national federal budget priorities for the United States of America.
Pursuant to the requirements of AS 05.15.112 and 15 AAC 105.210 regarding the appointment and duties of the Primary Member in Charge of Gaming, the Board of Directors of ________________________ at a meeting held at Cordova, Alaska on January 11, 1993, proposed the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Cordova Board of Education that Jeff Hawley/Bidarki Recreation Center was appointed as the Primary Member in Charge of Gaming.
State of Alaska Department of Education Cigarette Tax Resolution. (A resolution by the municipal government approving specific funs is required to be on file with the Alaska Department of Education)
WHEREAS, the City of Cordova, Alaska, as the appropriate governing body, is desirous of participating in the distribution of funds under the provision of AS 43.50.140. known as the Cigarette Tax fund, and
WHEREAS, under the terms of this Statute, the funds are to be used for the exclusive purposes of major repair and rehabilitation, construction, insurance, and debt retirement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the funds will be used for the following purpose: Insurance Premiums
That the money received and spent will be accounted for in a separate fund.
That the income derived from the investment of cigarette tax money will be credited to the fund and spent for the purposes described above.
The disbursements will be made only upon the specific authorizations of the local school board.
