Concordia College is a Language Training Centers (LTC) funded by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO) and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
The Concordia LTC was established in 2016 in collaboration with the 300th MI BDE of the Utah National Guard. Since then, additional partners have been added. Concordia’s LTC, through its Concordia Language Villages, has been offering residential iso-immersion sessions in a variety of critical languages. For the 2023-24 LTC grant year, immersion sessions in the following languages will be offered: Arabic (MSA), Chinese/Mandarin, French, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian.

The Concordia Language Training Center is located on Turtle River Lake near the city of Bemidji in Northern Minnesota.
All training facilities are located on the wooded lakefront of Turtle River Lake in Northern Minnesota. Each facility includes a dining hall, activity and classroom spaces, living quarters and walking trails. The Russian Language Village is located on the north shore, while the other seven sites grace the south shores of the lake. The packing lists below are intended to give you an idea of what you might need. Each individual needs to pack to assure their own comfort and sense of preparedness. Participants will have access to free basic laundry facilities. Detergent is provided.
