Habitat for Humanity Volunteer and Leader

(February 2017 - Present)

I have participated in three one-week long Habitat for Humanity trips to Georgia, South Carolina and Trinidad and Tobago. Additionally, I led the South Carolina trip with a group of 25 students. As a volunteer and leader, my tasks included working on various projects on the construction site and leading a team of students on the worksite and in the community.

Orientation Leader

(August 2018)

I was selected to be an Orientation Leader for first-year students during my junior year. In this role, I led first-year students during orientation week. I guided them around campus, mentored, shared advice and offered emotional support.

Registered Behavior Technician

(January 2018 - September 2019)

I worked at the North Dakota Autism Center as a Registered Behavior Technician. My responsibilities for this position included providing one-on-one therapy to individuals developmental disabilities, specifically to individuals with autism. I helped individuals with autism work to improve their speaking skills, fine and large motor movement skills, and community skills. I also implement feeding therapies for individuals with autism.

Homecoming Committee

(January 2017 - October 2019)

During my freshman, sophomore, and junior year, I was part of Concordia College's Homecoming Committee. My responsibilities for this committee included, planning events specific to Homecoming, monitoring a budget, and keeping a timeline. During my junior and senior year, I was the chair for the Homecoming Committee. My responsibilities for this position included, leading weekly meetings, guiding committee members, and public speaking.

Habitat for Humanity Campus Board Member

(May 2017 - Present)

During my sophomore year, I served as the Publicist for the campus chapter. My responsibilities included, marketing events through social media and campus advertisements. During my junior year, I served as the Spring Break Coordinator. My responsibilities included planning mission trips, selecting and training trip leaders, and planning the logistics of trips. Currently, I serve as the Campus and Community Coordinator. My responsibilities for this position include planning volunteer opportunities on campus and in communities with Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

Cross Country Athlete

(August - October 2016)

During the freshman year of my undergraduate education, I ran cross country for the women's team at Concordia College. I joined the team for the enjoyment of running and fitness. My responsibilities on the team included, attending practices or meets six days a week, supporting team members, and choosing healthy habits.
