If you are in Yr10 and last year you have completed all your 3 actvities plus the expedition for DofE Bronze (volunteering, physical and skills) or least 2 activities and the third one is in a phase of completion, you may join the Silver schedule this year.

These are the key dates we request students to keep free to ensure they can attend all the expedition activities.
Held at Students School
For Coombe Boys Students - Wednesday 18 March 2026, 3.15 - 4.15pm (Y10 students only)
For Coombe Boys Students - Friday 20 March 2026, 3.15 - 4.15pm (Y10 students only)
All students attend the whole weekend:
Fri 17th April (After School) to Sun 19th April, Surrey Hills
Parents/Carers must drop / collect their children from Surrey Hills - Details TBA and will be sent via email nearer the expedition date.
Sat 11th July 8:00am
Students to be dropped off by parents/carers at Coombe Girls School. Travelling to New Forest by coach.
Mon 13th July circa 5pm -
Travelling from New Forest by coach. Students to be collected by parents/carers from Coombe Girls School.
DofE Timeline 2025-2026 CHECK YOUR PROGRESSION
September - October 2025 promotion and registration (deposit payment, Google form and Google Classroom), looking for volunteering/physical/skills placements
November - December 2025 - eDofE log-in details provided, registration of the volunteering/physical/skills placements (including full names of the assessors and their contact details). Full payment deadline: 28 Jan.
January - April 2026 - continuing (and finishing) the volunteering/physical/skills placements that started in the Autumn Term. An after school training session in March and practice expedition (see the dates above)
May - June 2026 finishing the three placements and signing off the assessors' reports
July 2026 assessed expedition
