Coombe Careers Programme is designed:
To provide a wealth of opportunities for students to learn about themselves, their interests, personal qualities, and what influences their decisions
Encourage career exploration by providing quality and up-to-date information about the world of learning and the world of work
Promote career management by encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own career decisions and encourage realistic and flexible individual higher education and career paths.
Prepare pupils to manage change and transition in a fast-moving world through their own sense of initiative and enterprise, seizing opportunities and managing unexpected change with success.
Coombe Career Weeks
To ensure that students have a range of career related opportunities, we have organised a 'Career Week' in each of the six half terms throughout the academic year. Each of these weeks have a different theme and students will be given access to a range of activities to help them develop their skills and exposure to career exploration.
