Overview
I have been instrumental in the development of the course named “The Science of Plant-Based Nutrition for Healthcare Professionals”, which has been especially designed by PAN International for healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses and dietitians in the greater China region to understand the latest research and development on plant-based nutrition in healthcare management.
The entire course content has been developed by PAN International. HKU SPACE acting as a partner will be responsible for the advertisement, recruitment of students and the delivery of the lectures.

Invitation to speak at various nutrition conferences in China and will use these opportunities to further introduce and promote plant-based nutrition to healthcare professionals in China.
Exploring new partnerships such as GOOD FOOD FUND to conduct this course in Chinese in China.

Lessons Learned
Lack of interest from the local dietetics community as evident in the lack of registrants for this course.
We will be holding a one day symposium in Hong Kong on June 14, 2025 to raise awareness in the local health care professionals hopefully to gain more interest in the course.
