Facing the curved dais, the panel will be on the right-hand wall between two doors.
Touch the panel to begin. The screen should now display several buttons:
If you will be sharing visual content with your audience, you will need to pick a display. I recommend "Desk PC".
If you'd like more information about each option, you can learn more below.
Do this before going any further!
Look around the room. If you see any monitors/displays/televisions that are still off, but you need them to be on for your event or presentation, you will need to go turn them on.
We are seeking a more reliable automation process for the room displays, as some currently fail to turn on when the system is booted. Head over to the desk and look for the four colorfully labeled remotes. Each display has a small colored stick on the bottom right front, matching its remote.
This remote controls the two monitors in the front of the room (The wall with St. Mary's County Public Schools written on it) and the monitor to the immediate right of the main entrance doors to the room.
The remote controls the Samsung display that has wheels and hangs out by the desk.
This controls the SmartBoard Display, but rarely works. You might just want to go to the SmartBoard and push the power button (Bottom right of the front side).
This controls the BIG Tv in the back corner, opposite wall when you first enter the room.
The control panel can adjust the volume of the ceiling speakers inside the Board Room. You can also mute or unmute all speakers.
There are 7 ceiling-mounted speakers in the room
The fewer people in the room, the louder the speakers will feel
There is a wired conference mic located on the desk.
Great choice if you are presenting on Deck PC or Guest PC
It needs to be turned on manually.

The desk (or credenza) is the computer located on the small brown wheeled desk in the middle of the room.
It is used for Board Meetings
It is wired into the floor; if it is not wired to the floor, go get help.
It has an automated login. This means when you power up the PC, you DO NOT need to log in, just let the machine do its thing until you see the Windows desktop.
It has a presentation remote plugged in that can be found on the desk, do not remove it!
A conference microphone lives on the desk, it is not a mouse, do not remove it!
Its primary display is also a touch screen
It has a convenient USB port built into the desktop
You can use ⊞P on the keyboard (Windows Key and P at the same time) to access the display controls. This can let you clone or extend displays
When extending displays on this computer, the secondary monitors are "above", so you would mouse up and past the top of the screen to access them with a mouse.
Any computer plugged into the HDMI cable found on the desk (credenza) becomes the guest computer. Do not remove the HDMI cable.
Your computer will need an HDMI port or an adapter for HDMI
This does not provide internet access for guests, just the ability to display their laptop in the room.
If needed, you will have to provide your own presentation remote; do not use the one plugged into the desk computer
If it is a long presentation, don't forget to plug in your machine.
The Smart PC is a small Dell computer hooked up to the mobile cart SmartBoard. When using the SmartBoard, you can select the computer under display settings.
This setup has the designated Color Green and Number 3.
It is wired into the wall; if it is not wired to the wall, go get help.
The PC, its keyboard/mouse, and its presentation remote can all be found in the compartment on the back on the smart board. Do not remove any of these components.
You may need to open up the compartment and power on the dell computer.
It has an automated login. This means when you power up the PC, you DO NOT need to log in, just let the machine do its thing until you see the Windows desktop.
This computer has Smart software installed to enabled full Smart functionality.
You can use ⊞P on the keyboard (Windows Key and P at the same time) to access the display controls. This can let you clone or extend displays
This is for people who only need sound in the room but do not need any of the displays.
It tells all the displays in the room to show our logo instead of a connected computer.
