Kindergarten Remote Learning Office Hours

Teachers may be reached via email 1pm - 2pm, Monday through Friday. During this time, you can expect a quick and timely response.

Remote Learning

We will be using Seesaw to share and communicate with families, as well as weekly emails.

A hard copy packet of the calendar and other activities is available. Due to the ever changing situation, our packet pick up will now be self-serve. Our student packets for the current week will be stored in filing cabinets labeled by grade level under the car rider line patio beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. The packets will be available for pick up throughout the week. For the safety of all, please remember to utilize social distancing when picking up packets. Packets can also be found by clicking on the weekly packet buttons below.

Seesaw

Your child will post to Seesaw to share their learning. We will also use Seesaw to send supplemental activities.

Each student has a unique home learning code to access Seesaw. Your child's home learning code was sent by email from your child's teacher.

When signing in with their home learning code, they can post to their journal, respond to activities, and view class announcements. Students do not see the work of any other student in the class.

Posting your child's work to Seesaw is completely optional. It is a way for them to interact with their teacher and show them their work, but it is not mandatory. If keeping a folder with your child's work is easier for you, please feel free to do so.

Emails

Each week, you will receive an email with a calendar that the Kindergarten team has formed with activities for each subject area. The calendar will be following our Kindergarten curriculum. Each activity should take no more than 15 minutes. They are not meant to overwhelm, but support and encourage education. In Kindergarten, it is recommended that your child is engaged academically for about an hour and a half each day.

There will also be links to videos as resources on the bottom of our weekly emails. Students will have the option of saving their work to share with me in a folder once we return to school or they have the option of uploading pictures of their work to Seesaw.
