What We Do

As a peer facilitated service supported by in person and telehealth clinicians, EMOTE can offer immediate access to substance use disorder assessments, medical management appointments, placement into detox or rehab programs, and can transport clients to services. In addition, we use a street medicine approach to services that delivers care wherever the client is located.  Ongoing mental health counseling and outpatient treatment is also possible.  We can facilitate immediate, same-day enrollment in Medicaid. 

The central philosophy of EMOTE is that peers with lived experience help clients navigate treatment for addiction and mental health.  We accept referrals from the City of Everett and service providers throughout the city, but the majority of individuals receiving services start with a peer encounter initiated by EMOTE staff.
