Leaving To Learns
What are Leaving to Learns?
Leaving to learns are opportunites for the student to exit the school to fully embrace and experience what it means to be in real world. They even come in different sizes of students as some may go solo, or with the whole grade year, and everything in between. Essentially, leaving to learns are the Met's equivalent to a field trip.
And once you're out of the building, students can gain more experienece, learn new concepts, bond with fellow peers, create connections/a network of contacts, and an overall change of pace to newcomers to the Met.
Leaving to learns that I went to are:
Annie's Attic
A thrift store that's also a cat cafe! And the cats can be adopted as well too!
Galaxy Comics
A store that sells comic books, figurines, and other collectables.
Element The Restaurant
A restaurant located within the University of Winnipeg.
Manitoba Legislative Building
Where teachers protested for equal pay at the legislative building.
EventLights
A warehouse/workplace for the EventLights crew reside in.
