Komi Can’t Communicate is a comedy romance slice of life story about an extremely gorgeous and majestic girl known as Komi Shouko attending the elite Itan Private High School in Japan. Though Komi’s staggering beauty is loved by everyone, there is a small problem: She has extreme social anxiety and horrible communication skills.

Though this would change when Tadano Hitohito, an average high school student whose personal motto is "Read the situation and stay out of trouble”. Though this mindset would later be shattered when he realizes that Komi herself was right next to him. Which was already bad for our boy. At lunch period, he would be knocked down by the hordes of students trying to go to Komi which resulted in him passing out, Tadano would then wake up to Komi do a “nya” which causes her to bolt out of the room. But before she could leave, Tadano takes a shot in the dark and guesses that Komi has horrible speaking skills. Which makes her stay. Finding out the truth, Tadano makes an entirely new goal, where he’ll help the school’s own Madonna make 100 friends to overcome Komi’s communication disorder.
