This is NOT a place to be creative.
An example of a title would be: "Effects of Ultraviolet Light on Borax Crystal Growth Rate". If you can, begin your title using a keyword rather than an article like 'The' or 'A'. Using a verb to start a title may help focus you on the purpose of the lab: "Determining the Concentration of a Solution of Sulfuric Acid by Titration with Sodium Hydroxide".
.
Some good verbs are: determine, calculate, classify, etc. Avoid words that serve no useful purpose and only increase the length. Such phrases as "A Study of..." or "An Experimental Investigation of..." should be avoided.
The title, purpose and conclusion should be revisited before you turn in your lab.... they should be edited to correctly reflect the scientific purpose of the lab.
