In 2019, a team of CA students hosted the first Women in Technology Conference at Concord Academy, featuring Keynote Speaker Alesia Tringale of Dell-EMC, and numerous workshops presented by both Concord Academy students and the conference's corporate affiliates.
Alesia Tringale is a Director of Software Engineering and one of the only 74 Distinguished Engineers at Dell-EMC, where she leads a high performance global software team in the VMAX Enterprise Storage Organization within Dell Corporation, developing embedded scaling fabric interconnects, global cache services, networking, data reduction and Secure Host protocol subsystems.
Alesia received her undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and graduate degree in Systems Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Alesia started her career working in the Semiconductor field, but later took an opportunity to join EMC in 1998 as a Senior Hardware Engineer. Alesia currently holds 12 patents and she continues to expand her role in influencing the architecture, design and development of VMAX’s next generation, industry-leading Enterprise Storage product.
