A book cover includes several key parts: the front cover, back cover, spine, title, author’s name, imagery, and sometimes a subtitle or credit. The front cover captures attention with its design and often gives a hint about the book's content or genre. The spine displays the title and author, useful when the book is shelved. The back cover usually includes a summary, reviews, and barcode. A well-designed cover is crucial for attracting readers and improve sales, since it’s the first impression a potential buyer gets. A good cover can make the difference between a book being picked up or passed over.

In our class, we work this part of creativity designing the alternative cover of real books, or a new one for a not real book. In this case, we also have joined several volumes, playing with their spines to create a puzzle that, somehow, tells a little about the inside story.
