2025/26 Course Change Requests
Please submit the Course Change Request Form to request any changes to a scholar's 2025/26 schedule.
Course change requests will only be accepted before the first 10 calendar days from the start of the course.
Fall 2025 - course add / drop deadline: 9/5/2025
Spring 2026 - course add / drop deadline 2/11/2026
2025/26 Accelerated Course Options Program (ACOP)
ACOP allows scholars to accelerate and advance academically or recover unearned credits in their high school courses by adding additional credits (courses) to their schedule per semester. Contact your counselor if interested before the deadlines:
ACOP (add 2 courses): Fall 2025 +2 - 11/13/2025
ACOP (add 1 course): Fall 2025 +1- 12/19/2025
ACOP (add 2 courses): Spring 2026 +2 -TBD
ACOP (add 1 course): Spring 2026 +1 -TBD
The ACOP Program Policy is as follows:
A scholar may add an additional course to their schedule no later than four weeks prior to the end of a semester (eligibility is dependent upon 75% completion in all other courses with good academic standing).
A scholar may add two additional courses to their schedule no later than 8 weeks prior to the end of the semester (eligibility is dependent upon 50% completion in all other courses with good academic standing).
Counselor approval required to participate in the program.
Academic counselor and Director of Counseling Service may confer to approve a special circumstance request when a scholar may be eligible for additional course(s).*
Scholar may add up to 8 additional courses via ACOP (2 at a time), per semester if all eligibility requirements are met.
Concurrent Enrollment, Work permits, and Entertainment permits must be approved by your College & Career Readiness Counselor.
Please note: The Ethnic Studies course appears below as part of the requirements for Social Science- but that requirement only applies to scholars entering 9th grade at the start of the 2025-2026 school year and onward. If you began high school before the 2025-2026 school year, Ethnic Studies is not a required course for you. If you have questions, please reach out to your assigned counselor.
