CLASS DATES: April 2 - May 25
DAYS & TIMES: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-1pm

COURSE INFORMATION: Introduction to Office Occupations is taught using a model similar to the IBEST model of instruction. Austin Community College adapted Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (IBEST) to move students further and faster to certificate completion. This program is a nationally recognized model that pairs classroom instructors – one instructor to teach professional and technical content and the other to teach basic skills in reading, math, writing or the English language – so students can move through school and into jobs faster. As students progress through the program, they learn basic skills in real-world scenarios.
