Instructor Qualifications: CLM instructors are craft professionals with years of experience in the trade they teach. CLM instructors are certified by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Austin Chapter having completed all requirements as set forth by NCCER.

Intro. to the National Electrical Code
Circuit Sizing and Wiring
Service Entrance Conductor Sizing
Certifications:
Students who successfully complete this class receive an industry-recognized credential from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) for Electrical Level 1, a 10 hour OSHA card and an Electrical / Plumbing Apprentice license. With this certification, students can apply for local jobs with starting wages of $15-$20/hour
Eligibility Criteria:
· 1st time Community Action applicant for 2017-2018
· 18 years or older
· Educational Attainment: Associates degree or below (those with a bachelor's degree or higher cannot be considered)
· Must demonstrate an academic need on the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE), if a high school diploma or the equivalent has been attained
· Preference given to those living in the counties surrounding Travis County (Rural Capital Workforce Area)
· Legally authorized to work in the US is preferred
