Dates to be given at CHS will be announced.
Every junior and senior at CHS will be given the time during their school day to take the ASVAB. This test is designed for those who are interested in joining a branch of the military. It assesses special skill set and interests so that recruiters and students will have a better understanding of what their opportunities are for career choices within the military.
THE ASVAB WILL BE GIVEN ONLY TO THOSE WHO SIGN UP IN ADVANCE.
In addition to being the qualifying test for the military, this test is an amazing tool for all students as it will help them understand how their interests and abilities can align for a successful and enjoyable future. It also serves as great (FREE) practice for other college entrance exams.

BELOW ARE THE TESTING DATES AS SET UP BY ACT AND SAT...
CHS WILL OFFER SENIORS A FALL SCHOOL TEST DATE. OTHER TEST DATES ARE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS AT OTHER LOCATIONS.
THE TSI ASSESSMENT CAN BE SCHEDULED AT ANY TIME THROUGH TAMUC MARKETPLACE OR PARIS JUNIOR COLLEGE. THE TSI WILL ALSO BE OFFERED AT CHS SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.

Tests such as the ACT do allow some of the same accommodations as your student might receive in high school; however, the documentation does not automatically carry over. If you need more help with how to get your student the necessary accommodations, please reach out.
