NEED GRADES SENT?

Kelly Patterson is the PIEMS Clerk at CHS. She will be able to send any student transcript to most post secondary institutions in the state of Texas. For institutions outside of Texas, students will request a sealed mailed copy. This is a digital process so that the college or university will accept them as official copies sent by the school district. Transcripts can be sent at any time, but they will be updated using the schedule posted here.

The transcript request process is to complete the form attached here. The transcript request form will be added to the student's file as it is completed by Mrs. Patterson.

At the beginning of the academic school year 2022-2023, GPAs on transcripts will reflect the grades at the end of the year 2021-2022. New GPAs will be calculated at the end of the first semester. These should be ready at the beginning of February 2023. Then final senior transcripts, GPAs, ranking and such will be determined based on courses through the third term which ends March 2023 (for seniors only). These transcripts will be updated in the system by April 1, 2023. Transcripts will be calculated yet again for final GPAs after the end of the school year on May 27, 2023 and will not be updated in the system until June 15 2023.

Colleges will usually go by the transcript that is sent at time of application to the institution. This can be the fall transcript in most cases. At times, they will request a final transcript to complete the admissions process. These need to be requested before the last day of school and will be sent after all transcripts are finalized. Any other help or special circumstances should be addressed to Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Sample. They will work to help students in such situations.
