How can you tell if something you see online is trustworthy or not?
Monday Script: Critical Thinking
Every October, we celebrate National Digital Citizenship Week! Being a good digital citizen means using technology responsibly, respectfully, and safely.
Today’s theme is critical thinking! With so many answers just a click away, it’s important to stop and think about what we see online. Not everything we read, watch, or hear is true. Being a good digital citizen means stopping to think before we share or react. Ask yourself: Who posted this? Why did they post it? Can I verify this same information somewhere else? You have the power to make a positive impact by thinking critically about what you see online — because smart choices online help build a smarter world offline. You have the power to make a positive impact by thinking critically before you click. At Comal ISD, we are smart Digital Citizens!
Below each lesson, there is a link for an English and Spanish version of the activity.
