How can you balance staying connected online with spending quality time with people in real life?
Thursday Script: Human Connection
Today’s focus for Digital Citizenship Week is human connection.
Technology makes it easy to connect — but it can also make it easy to disconnect from real life. Sending a message or leaving a comment is fast, but it’s not the same as an actual conversation. Make time for real, face-to-face interactions with the people around you. Eye contact, tone, and body language matter — they build empathy and strengthen relationships in ways screens can’t. You have the power to make a positive impact by using technology to enhance relationships, not replace them. Stay connected — for real.
