How can you tell if something you see or read online is credible?
Monday Script: Critical Thinking
This week is National Digital Citizenship Week!
Digital citizenship is about using technology responsibly, respectfully, and thoughtfully. Today’s focus is on critical thinking.
With so much information online, it’s important to question what you see before believing or sharing it. Not everything on social media or the internet is true — even if it looks convincing. When you come across a post or video that seems unbelievable, pause and ask: Who made this? What’s their goal? Can I confirm it somewhere else? Being a critical thinker online helps stop the spread of misinformation and makes you a smarter, more reliable digital citizen. You have the power to make a positive impact on the world by thinking critically about what you see online.
