Riley accomplished something great by building that school! There's a kind of secret ingredient in what Riley did, and a secret ingredient in what we can do for Jesus. Except it's not really a secret. In fact, it's right in the Bible!
Today's Bible verse is from 2 Corinthians 4:7 "Our great power is from God, not from ourselves."
What does this verse mean to you, especially when you think of doing something for Jesus?
You don't have to wait until you're grown up to do something fro Jesus. Just look at Riley Banks! We can all use Jesus' power to accomplish great things for Jesus!
But remember - you don't have to build a school to do something great for Jesus. Comforting a sad friend is a big accomplishment, too. So is telling someone about Jesus. So is helping someone in need.
The main thing to remember is that the power comes from Jesus, not ourselves. We might have big ideas but only Jesus can help us accomplish those ideas.
