Music & Arts will be having a Band Fitting Night on Weds, Sept 4 at Dominion Middle School. Elementary Fittings are from 6:00-7:30pm. This info is being passed along from a fellow CCS Music Educator, all are welcome to attend.
Look at you! You made it! Congrats and welcome to the page. Mr. Douglas will do his best to post updates here throught the year. Each post will simply go on top of the previous one in case anything ever needs revisited, so please make sure to check here often. As we get into stretches of time that could impact our classes (like testing) I will do my best to let you know.
More importantly, as the year gets underway, Mr. Douglas may need help from folks at home with things like making sure names are on cases or students are bringing their materials on the days that they should be. Because of my responsibility to 5 buildings, email is always the easiest way to contact Mr. Douglas. I generally devote time each morning into answering anything that comes in. Right now, the best thing that you can do for your student is to make sure that they are enrolled in their school's Google Classroom and get them a quality instrument and book as soon as possible. The sooner that we are able to start our groups at school the better. The first few weeks will be spent working on schedules and recruiting. After everyone has had some time, we will be off and running. Don't get left behind!
