Pictured above are the Method Books we will be using for Band and String Classes:

Please get Book 1 for the instrument that you decide to play and write your name on the cover in permanent marker!

These books can be found at the stores below or even ordered from online sources like Amazon.

Remember: 4th graders play String Instruments ONLY (per CCS) and 5th graders may continue in Strings -or- learn a Brass/Woodwind/Percussion instrument.

Pictured below is the rental info/flyer from Music and Arts (*from '22-23). Music and Arts has a wonderful trial period for students and families to have enough time to decide if Instrumental is something you enjoy.

Please note the many locations around town. The Loft is a very popular String shop and Buckeye Brass and Winds does a wonderful job with Band Instruments. Both are excellent for repairs.

Be sure to ask about instrument insurance as it ususally comes in extremely handy for beginners!
