Getting Around the City

Despite its large hills on the edges of the city, Medellín is relatively easy to navigate, unless there is traffic... which one should always be ready for! Medellín is internationally recognized for its infrastructural improvements connecting outside barrios to its city center.

School Transportation:

- School provides daily transportation to and from school along designated routes. In most cases, the stops are less than two blocks from where you live.

Taxis/Transportation Apps:

- In general, grabbing a taxi on the street in Medellín is more expensive. It is always recommended to call a taxi through an app instead of hailing one on the street.

Metro:

- The metro system is efficient and inexpensive. It primarily connects the south of the city to the north.
