Middle School students get the exciting opportunity to travel to exotic destinations! For these opportunities, they get to go to three different locations and explore the culture and beauty of each one! Read on to learn about these exquisite places!
Costa Rica 🏝🌺
Palm trees, sparkling beaches, lush rainforests- are you ready to journey into Costa Rica?! Practice your spanish skills during this once in a lifetime experience into this beautiful country!
Costa Rica is an amazing place with tons of interesting things to do! In Costa Rica there are many different types of landscape such as: beaches, rainforests, and lots more! In this trip, you will get to experience the finest parts of this country. Also , you will learn leadership skills that you will use throughout your life!
Wildlife
Costa Rica hosts an exotic variety of wildlife. There are beautiful birds, interesting insects, and more. In the ocean, there are lush corals, jumping dolphins, and billions of brightly colored fish. In the forest, come see the howling monkeys, the cool frogs, and big cats, such as jaguars and leopards. Come see what Costa Rica has to offer: these strange and unfamiliar animals!

Costa Rica has a variety of different types of landscapes. There are lots of volcanoes, dotting the landscapes. Large forests surround Costa Rica, full of beautiful plants, and colorful flowers. Also, there are many fascinating beaches, with crashing waves and silky sand to sink your feet in. Enjoy the amazing terrain and exotic landscape in this majestic country.
Dominican Republic 🕶🌴
Unfortunately the Dominican Republic trip has been suspended however, we still wanted to display some info we learned while searching for the Dominican Republic.
Lights, camera, action! Do you want to venture into the Caribbean Sea? Sink your feet into the glittery sand? Well, enjoy all these things as you travel to the Dominican Republic!
Come to the Dominican Republic and you will get to: Practice your Spanish skills, help run a camp for the local children, and explore the city of Cotui, a history-filled metropolis, dating back to the 1500s.
Landscape and Nature
Home to about 5,600 species of plants and 7,500 animal and bird species, the Dominican Republic has a very diverse variety of wildlife. View the great mountains and amazing coffee plants as you arrive in the Dominican Republic’s central region. Cotui! Savor the warm air as you walk around Cotui’s main urban township.
History
The city of Cotui is very famous for its gold population. During the 16th century, many people found and mined the gold found in porous stones. Because of the incredible amounts of gold found, most miners didn’t even pick the small lumps you may find very special. Many wealthy men gave ~10-20% of the gold they had to contribute to the building of many churches and facilities. This made all the buildings have something quite unique.
Florida 🏖🪸
Enjoy and explore the beaches and ocean as you travel to this marvelous state. Experience snorkeling, swimming with manatees, touching playful stingrays. Swim through sparkling waterfalls and search for shark’s teeth. Water, sun, FUN!
Coral and Sea Life
Florida is home to a wide variety of sea life. There are almost 100 different species of freshwater fish. Florida also has sharks, rays, manatees, and eels, all of which swim around in the sparkling waters. During this trip, you will get hands-on experience with many different types of animals, and you will see bright blooms of coral!
Landscape and Nature:
With 25,000 square miles of forest, and 1,800 miles of ocean coastline, there is a lot of fascinating nature you can encounter in Florida. While being called “the Sunshine State”, Florida encounters ~53.7 inches or rainfall yearly. Walk around the dazzling beaches, search the mangrove marshes, and dive deep into the colorful ocean.
All these wonderful places have many things in common. Beautiful landscapes, friendly communities, colorful scenery, and rich culture, but most importantly, memories we all create together! Create unforgettable experiences in all these extraordinary places.
