When arriving for class, students should:
Go directly to their assigned seats, sit, and remain seated as class begins.
Make sure they have all required materials for the class period
Look at the board to see the Do Now or class warm up
Start on the Do Now/warm up immediately
Read when they complete the Do Now
Sharpen pencils at this time
Be in your seat when the bell rings. You do not need to ask to get a drink or go to your locker. If you need to do those things, just do them. However, make sure you are in your seat on time.
The teacher dismisses the class. When the bell rings, students may pack up their belongings, but remain in their seats. The teacher will then dismiss you once everyone is prepared to leave in an orderly manner.
