Motivational Activity

During the first session of our new project, students saw an interesting presentation about the history of famous companies. They saw the evolution of the famous LEGO Brand among others as well as companies created out of vengeance and the need to redesign logos to make them easier to remember. They were fascinated with the changes that have happened over the years! Finally each group had to come up with a Title for this trimester's Projects.

Green Peace visit

We were very lucky welcoming 5 Green Peace volunteers that went to Mirasur to develop a workshop about: What Green Peace is? What do they do? What can we do for nature? and also analysing the impact of contamination in our environment! We had a session of Critical Thinking where we judge some posters from EcoEmbes.

Create Your Own Jingle Session

In order to continue understanding the complex world of advertising, this session focused on the importance of advertising jingles, short and catchy songs or tunes that are used to promote the product or service that is advertised.

To begin, students learned basic vocabulary related to jingles. Then, they watched some videos where songs have a big impact. They saw how certain tunes can create different feelings, even if the scene is the same.

The next activity consisted in listening to well-known jingles and guessing what service or product it represented. Students would listen and raise their hand if they recognized the tune.

To conclude the session, students were given the opportunity to create their own jingle! They had to find a way to advertise their compan . Here are some pictures of them hard at work.

Psychology of Colors Session

During this session, we learned all about the Psychology of colors and its influence on Marketing. What do certain colors mean? How are colors related to logotypes?

After this very interesting presentation, everyone had to put this new knowledge to the test and create a personal logotype for specific ecological businesses.

First they had to sketch it out, then they made it digital!

Final Product Part 1 (Logo and Poster Making)

The first part of the Final Product is Creating their Company Logo. Students chose the best logo that each of them created as well the the best Slogan. 1 representative of the group digitalized it on Adobe Draw while the rest of the team members made posters for their company. Final Product Part 2(Jingle Making)

Jingles here, Jingles there... Jingles everywhere!

They all created their own jingle for their company, and now it is the time to put together ideas and strengths.


In this lesson, students will remember the steps we need to create a jingle, and then they will work as a team the create "The Ultimate Jingle" for their project dividing their tasks: Best composer will be in charge of garage band, best singer will sing the jingle, best slogan writer will write the final slogan, and best manager will organise the group.

Final Product Part 3 (Commercial)

The advertisement is the final step in the final product. The groups must combine their logo, jingle and short clips to create the final product. Here is the making of their Company Commercial.
