CONSERVATION VS DESTRUCTION OF NATURAL PARKS TIC TAC TOE
This session, the students learned about the 15 National Parks in Spain and current problems threatening the parks.
Aquatic Ecosystem: Cabrera and Atlantic Islands National Parks
Students were given questionnaires and in their groups, they must search for the information that can be found around the classroom. Their tasks are to read news and Fact Sheets about the Cabrera and Atlantic National Parks and answer the questionnaire completely before the time is up. In this activity, cooperation and strategy are important factors to consider.
Terrestrial Ecosystems: The 9 National Parks and its threats.
In this session, the students learned about the 9 National Parks in Spain that belong to terrestrial ecosystems and the issues that affect them. We carried a survey around the school to know what we know about them and find out what can be done to preserve them.
Mixed Ecosystem
A BreakOutEDU with Google Forms is a way to adapt a Escape Room to the classroom. It engages and involves the students in a very intense but healthy atmosphere of competition.
The group is divided into four groups and each has a captain. The captain receives via Google Classroom a link to a Form that they have to complete by the end of the class. The form is about the mixed ecosystems.
FINAL PRODUCT
Students created slide presentation and an iMovie about different national parks of Spain. They had to find information about animal, plants, endangered species, features of the park and other things. After that they had to record their voices presenting different parts of the presentation. Finally the students presented their movies and defended their final product by answering teachers' questions about their product.
