Laker Library Book Club
Last fall we re-launched our 2024-25 Book Club and we had a great time reading and discussing wonderful books. In the fall we read the book Accountable by Dashka Slater. The group enjoyed insightful and thought-provoking discussions. We highly recommend this non-fiction book!
Next we read the VT Reads book, Gather by Vermont author, Kenneth M. Cadow. We were thoroughly intrigued by this book and had great conversations about the characters, writing style, and all of the important themes it explores.
Our final read of the year was the Young Adult adaptation of the book Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. Our conversations were rich and thoughtful. Thank you to all of the students who participated last year.
Our first meeting of the 2025-26 school year is on September 24th during AT.
See Ms. Binder to join the Laker Library Book Group!
