Introduction to Breadmaking
In this unit we will be investigating the Big Idea of Breadmaking. Students will have the opportunity to bake a range of Bread recipes and will investigate the science of Breadmaking. Students will also develop their understand of the basic concepts used in food processing. This includes the use of flow charts to record recipes and the importance of testing in creating a successful outcome.
Two standards will be used to assess this unit
AS 91082 - Implement basic procedures to process a specified product
AS91083 - Demonstrate understanding of basic concepts used in processing
