Training Mode

Activate Training Mode

After logging into Mosaic, press a Serving Period, but do not press OK.
Press the MODES button on top of screen.(If you do not see a Modes button, you have gone too far).
On the drop down list, press on Training Mode to open the training mode session.

A prompt displays, "Refresh Training DB "Do you want to refresh the Training Database"?
Click Yes to open the Training Mode Database.

The Training Mode Alert banner displays, and lets you know Transactions Will Not Be Recorded.

Use Training Mode

After activating Training Mode, you may now work with any feature of Mosaic without impacting the actual district data! Feel free to experiment and work with the system as much as you would like! Once a student is selected while in Training Mode, the banner will no longer display. If you want to confirm you are in training mode before entering a transaction, simply exit the student transaction, and the Training Mode banner will be displayed at the top of the transaction ready screen.

Log Out Of Training Mode

To close out of the Training Mode session, press the X on top of screen.
The Log out prompt displays, Are you sure you want to log out?
Choose Yes to log out of the session.
Choose No keeps you logged in.

The Close Out prompt displays, asking if you wish to close the meal session you were using.
Choose Yes to close out of the meal session.
Choose No to stay logged in.

You are brought to the MOSAIC log in screen and Training Alert banner is not showing, which indicates you are no longer in training mode.
You are now ready to log into MOSAIC and start a regular meal session.
