Schedule and appointment with Your Child's Pediatrician to share your concerns and ask for a referral to mental health based on your child's needs. Best practice is to keep your child's pediatrician informed of your child's needs.
Go through your Medical Insurance. You can call the appointment line and ask for the phone number to schedule mental health appointments. Then call the mental health number and schedule an appointment. You may ask for a counselor specializing in children, youth or families. You may also ask for someone specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, etc.
Lastly, CNUSD provides a Clinician Referral List that you can use as a general guide to review various mental health clinician's in the Corona-Norco area.
