Welcome to our virtual open day!

We're sorry that we aren't meeting you in person.

It's a challenge to give you real sense of our college community and identity remotely but we hope we've done our staff and students justice through the videos and content we've provided.

Before you look around, there are a few things we feel you should know about us.

  • We are the one of the largest school-attached sixth forms in the country. This means we are absolutely able to deliver the kind of college experience you need to be ready for university, apprenticeships and the world of work. This includes rigorous academic standards, excellent facilities and a broad range of high quality extra-curricular activities. We take ourselves very seriously as competition for colleges, both state and private, in the area.

  • Our teachers are experts in their subjects AND their students. Our small class sizes mean we can provide just the right level of support to make sure you reach the destinations you want to reach. Our results have proved that time and time again.

  • Our presence on a Catholic school campus means strong pastoral care is not an add-on; it's our culture. Thriving socially and emotionally is as essential as thriving academically in preparing you for the wider world. This is something we ensure through our mentor groups, where students from year 13 can support students in year 12 in the same subjects. It's also achieved through our extensive extra-curricular program, our calendar of events and trips designed to build and nurture friendships, and a campus that provides space for socialising and collaboration. Positive peer experiences not only lead to good mental health, they generate a productive learning environment that will set you up for your next steps and beyond.

  • We are intentionally inclusive, both in policy and practice. We believe in providing a high level of care for everyone who comes under our wings, regardless of religion, orientation, or ethnic background and we run our college deliberately to cultivate peer encouragement, support and inclusion.

But don't take our word for it! We hope that by browsing our different subject areas and facilities, you will see everything we've said above for yourself.

If you feel there is anything we haven't covered, please do visit our FAQ page, and don't hesitate to request a personal call from us or any of our subject leaders.

We look forward to meeting you in person
