Remote Learning Resources
We will be working with our classes to familiarize them with several sites for classroom use as well as in the event our class or our school moves to remote learning. Please keep the following information available for your child's future use.
Student computer user name and password is on a label found on the first page of their student planner. Teachers do not keep a copy of this information so you will need to use the information in the student planner.
To access to Google Classroom, Pearson (Reading), ConnectEd (My Math series), Redbird (math enrichment), and Lexia (reading enrichment)
1. Go to the Piñon Valley Elementary School website home page.
2. Click on Learning Resources tab
3. Click on General Links
4. Scroll down to and click on the Mountain Portal icon
5. Type student User Name and Password
6. This window contains access to Google Classroom, Pearson (Reading), ConnectEd (My Math series), Redbird (math enrichment), and Lexia (reading enrichment)
7. Click on one of the icons for Google Classroom, Pearson, Connect Ed, or Lexia to gain access
8. For access to REDBIRD, click on ConnectEd, then find the "launch" button for Redbird.
9. ***ONLY FOR REMOTE LEARNING, to access Pearson Reading Street Weekly Selection Test or the story selection of the week
a. Click on Google Classroom
b. The Reading Street Weekly Selection Test will be assigned under the "Classroom" file tab
