THE CACRAO COLLEGE FAIR
All students deserve the chance to pursue postsecondary education to expand their knowledge, skillset, and prospects for the workforce. NC Educational Opportunity Programs are designed with the goal of providing every prospective student in North Carolina the opportunity to attend an educational program. The CACRAO College Fair will be a chance for students to visit with 100 colleges at the Park Expo and Convention Center on Thursday, October 19th at 11:00am. Interested students must contact their counselor and also submit a field trip form by Friday, October 15th.
COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK
Countdown to College (C2C) supports college access every October. C2C activities help high school seniors complete three important college enrollment steps: residency, FAFSA, and applications. Many NC colleges and universities will support C2C by waiving application fees during College Application Week. NC Countdown to College will take place during the month of October of 2023 and College Application Week (when many NC colleges have free applications) will be October 16-20, 2023.
