Where do I register with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
(Formerly know as NCAA Clearing House)
When should I register with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
You should register at the beginning of your sophomore year in high school. You will want to make sure you are on track to graduate on time and meet the NCAA's required initial-eligibility academic standards.

How do I qualify for an NCAA Eligibility Center Fee waiver?
If you are eligible for an ACT/SAT waiver, you will qualify for a fee waiver with the NCAA. Please contact Mr. Tobin for details.
I need to send my transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center. What do I need to do?
After creating an account with the NCAA Eligibility Center, email Mr. Lee Tobin (leeb.tobin@cms.k12.nc.us) to request for your transcript be sent.
A college coach is requesting my transcript. Who should I contact?
At this time we are unable to provide transcripts to college coaches. We are only able to share transcripts through the NCAA Eligibility Center. Coaches will have access to transcripts through the Eligibility Center. If you would like to provide a transcript to a coach you must do so personally. Please visit our transcript information page to see our procedures for requesting a transcript for personal use.
When are transcripts uploaded to the NCAA Eligibility Center?
Transcripts are uploaded to the NCAA at the end of JUNIOR year. The NCAA requires the transcript to reflect 6 complete semesters of coursework. If you are in need of a transcript before the end of your Junior year, please contact Mr. Lee Tobin (leeb.tobin@cms.k12.nc.us).
How and when will my final transcript be sent to the NCAA Eligibility Center?
Final transcripts will be sent upon graduation. Transcripts will automatically be sent for all senior students that are registered with the NCAA at that time.
How do I send my ACT/SAT scores to the NCAA Eligibility Center?
Official test scores must be sent by the STUDENT. We do not have official score reports. Students can do this by using code "9999” when registering for the ACT/SAT.

Helpful Hint:
Your Core Course GPA is not the same as the GPA you find listed on your transcript. The NCAA will only consider core courses from these five subject areas: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Language. The following list contains all classes at South Meck that count towards your core course GPA for NCAA eligibility.
