Senior Information
INFORMATION
Congratulations on reaching your Senior year! You were promoted to 12th grade because you completed at least 18 high school credits and are eligible to graduate with the required 24 credits this school year. With these accomplishments, you can now look forward to taking the next step toward your post-secondary goals. Review some of the things you need to do to stay on-track for graduation.
THINGS TO DO
Read your e-mails daily and attend homeroom to remain up-to-date on senior events, college and career fairs, recruitment events, and graduation deadlines and requirements.
Submit a brag sheet or resume to your School Counselor in case you need a recommendation at any point throughout the year or after you graduate.
Sign up for your senior meeting with your School Counselor to discuss how to make progress toward graduation and your post-secondary goal(s). Review both your cohort credit checklist and any additional steps you need to take.
Be proactive in completing achievement (ACT or SAT) or aptitude (ASVAB) tests, submitting materials, and requesting recommendations for any application deadlines.
Register to take your Senior Photos through CADY Studios, whether at their location or when they visit campus.
Order your yearbook to commemorate your Senior year.
Order your graduation supplies that include your cap, gown, and tassel well before your anticipated graduation.
Mark your graduation date on your calendar and attend graduation information sessions and practice.
Ensure that you have taken care of any financial obligations (such as unpaid class fees, lunch fees, or technology loans) before your graduation date.
