Magnet Pillar Family Engagement and Communication:
Piedmont has an active PTSA and other parent and community groups to support us including the Men of Piedmont and partnerships with several business and service organizations. We communicate via newslettters, phone messages, email, ParentSquare, social media, and specala invittations. There is an open door to volunteer which can be found on our website. There is such demonstrated commitment to engage families that our families enter expecting to be invovled and know they are welcomed.

Piedmont Community Engagement and Partnerships
Piedmont welcomes businesses and civic organizations to become involved in our IB program. We offer career-related and curriculum-focused partnerships to help students apply IB to their own career goals. including, as you see below, parent and community attendance at showcases for student led projects and community action where we both give back to the community and learn from them
This partial list of Community Partners and our Standing Invitation to volunteer is found at the Volunteer page of our main website
At Piedmont, Community and Service is a two way street. From hosting the YBLA Steam Fair, to the Community Service showcase, to our school Garden and Pantry, we play an active part in communities and also welcome the gifts of the members of our own community to help us grow.
