This is Mrs. Walker’s 11th year as a high School Counselor (all 10 years at PHS), but 18th year in CMS. Prior to becoming a School Counselor, she was a high school social studies teacher. She cannot imagine a job where she does not get to work with students on a daily basis.  

She received her undergraduate degree from Elon University and Masters in Counseling from UNC Charlotte. When not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, doing CrossFit (yes, she’s one of those people), and running.

Advice for Students: "If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change." Gotta love MJ :)
