This is Mrs. Hodge’s 22nd year as a High School Counselor. She has served as the Department Chairperson at Providence for the past 12 years. In 2008, she opened the first middle college for CMS (Cato Middle College High School). She received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and Masters in Counseling from North Carolina Central University. In addition, she has been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2008.

When not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She is a huge sports fanatic and enjoys attending PHS sporting events. She is also a huge Disney fan!

Advice for students: Pursue activities that truly interest you and enjoy high school! These years go by really fast!
