L.E.A.D. Ambassador Program is an interactive, engaging, and educational series with goals to increase participant knowledge of education equity issues, introduce racial equity and social justice lenses to change-making, expose participants to education policy as a career and those who practice it, and offer a small stipend/grant to kickstart change.

Wake Forest Summer Immersion Program
The Wake Forest Summer Immersion Program is a hands-on learning experience offered on-campus and online. 9-12th grade high school students dive deep into a field of study with access to world-class faculty, researchers, and industry professionals.
Eligibility:
Current high school students in grades 9 through 12.
A clean high school disciplinary record.
A strong academic background combined with a genuine passion for learning.
Registration deadline: The application opens on November 1st. We accept students on a rolling basis until all programs are filled. There is no hard deadline to apply. Students are encouraged to apply early as popular institutes begin to implement waitlists in January.
Brown Pre-College Summer Program
Brown Pre-College Programs are designed for high school students to explore the challenges and opportunities of the college experience. You’ll enjoy the excitement and responsibility that comes from balancing rigorous academics and enriching social activities—without the pressure of formal grades.
Eligibility:
Current high school students in grades 9 through 12.
A clean high school disciplinary record.
A strong academic background combined with a genuine passion for learning.
Registration deadline: The application opens on January 15th. We accept students on a rolling basis until all programs are filled. The hard deadline for all programs is May 9th 2025 Students are encouraged to apply early as popular institutes can fill up quickly.
CPCC Honeywell STEM Prep Program
CPCC is offering a free 4-week academic enrichment summer program for rising 11th grade, rising 12th grade, and/or graduating 12th grade students that are interested in attending Central Piedmont as a duel enrolled or 1st time college student in Fall 2025 and studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
STEM Prep will give participants an introduction to STEM topics at the college level. The summer session will be held for 4 weeks starting June 17 - July 17, 2025, in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 5:15pm. Also including lunch on Central Piedmont's Central Campus. STEM Prep completers will be given priority consideration for admission as a scholarshiped Honeywell STEM Academy Fellow for fall 2025.

Requirements: Applicant must be a female high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need and be accepted into a 2 year or 4 year college/university, or trade program.

Requirements: High school senior planning to study at an accredited Community College in North Carolina.

Lyndsey Scott Coding+ Scholarship
Deadline: April 15th 2025
Requirements: LGBTQIA+, Women, and/or BIPOC high school seniors who are majoring in computer science and are also pursuing other interests.

North Carolina Child Support Council Scholarship
Deadline: April 18th, 2025
Requirements: High school senior who has been accepted into a higher-education school (colleges, universities, technical institutes or trade institutes) with at least a 2.5 GPA, who has at least one parent who is a current member of the North Carolina Child Support Council or an active client of the Child Support Program.

Bridging the Dream Scholarship
Deadline: April 25th 2025
Requirements: High school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution or a continuing education program during the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible. Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and strong moral character and submit a short video sharing a unique perspective, passion, or curiosity that drives their academic interests.

Crossword Maker Scholarship
Deadline: April 30th 2025
Requirements: Open to all current or incoming undergraduate students who will be enrolled for the fall 2025 semester or quarter. To be considered for the competition, all crosswords must be original, written solely by the applicant, and not previously published elsewhere. Additionally, they must be created and published publicly on Crossword Maker following all instructions and guidelines.

You need 24 credits to graduate. These must include 4 English credits, 4 Math credits, 3 Science credits, 4 History credits, 1 Health & PE credit, and 8 elective credits, plus a CPR credential. Keep track of your graduation requirements with the Class of 2025 Checklist.
*If you plan on attending a 4 year University, it is STRONGLY encouraged to take 2 levels of the same foreign language and either Chemistry or Physics as your Physical Science Credit.
