The mental health of our students is a priority for our Student Services Team here at Palisades High School. Students' mental health plays a huge role in their abilities to function here at school and everywhere they go. Social/Emotional learning to help students manage and prioritize their own mental health is key. Please utilize these resources and events to support the mental health of our students.
School Based Mental Health (SBMH)
SBMH is a partnership between Palisades High School and Atrium Health to provide mental health counseling services to students here at school. Sessions are virtual with a licensed therapist. Please see the information pages linked below for the SBMH program. Please reach out to your counselor if you are interested in receiving mental health counseling services at school and to determine eligibility.
Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) is a group counseling series being offered for free by one of our long-standing partners. See the attached flyers for details. Groups are offered in both English and Spanish. If you or a parent have questions or are interested, please contact the number shown on the flyer. You can register for the sessions via the links on the flyer.
