L.E.A.D. Ambassador Program is an interactive, engaging, and educational series with goals to increase participant knowledge of education equity issues, introduce racial equity and social justice lenses to change-making, expose participants to education policy as a career and those who practice it, and offer a small stipend/grant to kickstart change.
Summer Programs:
CPCC Honeywell STEM Prep Program
CPCC is offering a free 4-week academic enrichment summer program for rising 11th grade, rising 12th grade, and/or graduating 12th grade students that are interested in attending Central Piedmont as a duel enrolled or 1st time college student in Fall 2025 and studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
STEM Prep will give participants an introduction to STEM topics at the college level. The summer session will be held for 4 weeks starting June 17 - July 17, 2025, in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 5:15pm. Also including lunch on Central Piedmont's Central Campus. STEM Prep completers will be given priority consideration for admission as a scholarshiped Honeywell STEM Academy Fellow for fall 2025.

Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge
The Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge (FELC) is a 5 day, on campus, summer program for students entering the 9th -12th grades. Students will learn what it means to run a business, earn real money and how to be successful in high school and beyond.
Eligibility: Current high school students in grades 9 through 12.

Brown Pre-College Summer Program
Brown Pre-College Programs are designed for high school students to explore the challenges and opportunities of the college experience. You’ll enjoy the excitement and responsibility that comes from balancing rigorous academics and enriching social activities—without the pressure of formal grades.
Eligibility:
Current high school students in grades 9 through 12.
A clean high school disciplinary record.
A strong academic background combined with a genuine passion for learning.
Registration deadline: The application opens on January 15th. We accept students on a rolling basis until all programs are filled. The hard deadline for all programs is May 9th 2025 Students are encouraged to apply early as popular institutes can fill up quickly.

You need 12 credits to be promoted from a Sophomore to a Junior. Of these 12 credits, you MUST have Math 1, Math 2, and English II. If you do not have these 3 classes, it does not matter how many credits you have. Make all of your classes a priority! Keep track of your graduation requirements with the Class of 2026 Checklist.
