PHS College & Career Center
The focus of the College and Career Center is to help students prepare for their future after high school. Whether a student plans to attend a college or university, join the military, or enter directly into the workforce, we provide resources and support.
Lisa Hall, College and Career Counselor, has nearly a decade of teaching and career guidance experience and is skilled in helping high school students and families achieve their post graduate goals. She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro and worked in the marketing industry for several years before transitioning into education.

assistance with college applications and reviewing collegiate plans of study
extracurricular activities and college resume building
information on scholarships and financial aid
high school programs with Central Piedmont Community College
Career Planning:
individual career counseling
career assessments
work based learning opportunities
employment assistance (referrals, applications, resumes and interviews)
classroom speakers
The College and Career Center is conveniently located in the mall area in room M-4. Students may visit the Center before school, during lunch, or by appointment. Parents may also visit by calling Lisa Hall at 980-343-5390 or emailing her at lisac.hall@cms.k12.nc.us.
