Process Portfolio

The Process Portfolio is a slideshow of 13-25 slides in which you share background and research related to your artistic journey during your Junior and Senior years of IB Visual Art. Essentially you share images of your art sketchbook, images of the process for your projects, and tidbits of research related to your projects that are NOT includes in your Comparative Study. You complete your Process Portfolio a few slides each project cycle, finishing in the Spring of Senior year.

2D Forms

o   Drawing: such as charcoal, pencil, ink

o   Painting: such as acrylic, oil, watercolour

o    Printmaking: such as relief, intaglio,

planographic, chine collé

o   Graphics: such as illustration and design

3D Forms

o   Sculpture: such as ceramics, found objects, wood,

assemblage

o   Designed objects: such as fashion, architectural, vessels

o   Site specific/ephemeral: such as land art, installation, mural

o   Textiles: such as fibre, weaving, printed fabric

Lens Based

o   Time-based and sequential art: such as animation, graphic novel, storyboard

o   Lens media: such as still, moving, montage

o   Digital/screen based: such as vector graphics, software generated
