Ms. Van Lauwe shared your graduation checklist with you on your CMS Google Drive. Please use your checklist to determine which high school courses you need to select for the 2021-2022 school year (see the box "Remaining Courses Needed for Graduation"- this list assumes you pass the courses you're taking this semester). All high school graduation requirements must be completed by the end of 12th grade- none can be carried over to Grade 13.
***All seniors MUST take the high school English 4 course. CPCC course substitution will not be allowed. ***
The social studies graduation requirements are changing. All current LMCHS students will be required to take:
World History
American History: Founding Principles, Civics and Economics
American History I OR American History II OR AP US History (CPCC HIS 131 and 132 substitutions still count)
1 Social Studies elective (if you have already taken both American History I & II, the second course will complete this requirement)
This means current juniors who have not already taken both American History courses will have the option of taking a second American History course or a social studies elective.
Complete this Google form to request your high school courses for the 2021-2022 school year. Course availability is on a first-come basis. Changes will be allowed to your spring semester courses when we register for Spring CPCC classes in the fall.

Students needing a high school course that is not offered at Levine (ex: foreign languages, Civics and Economics, Health & PE, AP courses) have the option of taking it virtually through NCVPS or Edgenuity. These are asynchronous courses posted in modules. Most virtual courses are semester long, with the exception of AP courses- these are usually yearlong.
